«The core element of my artistic work is the human being. When I work, I try to find new ways to bring the human figure closer to myself. In the course of time, I have developed my own technique, which is particularly characterised by fluid lines. After a figure study is done, I start to improvise and create my work freely. 

With photography, I work much more directly, more spontaneously. I can improvise more easily without preparation. I let myself be surprised by chance and can build on that. From these snapshots, I then in turn develop the figures mentioned above.»
